The aerodrome emergency full-scale training exercises CODE -1 “Airplane crash” was successfully conducted at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport on 10 Sep 2020. Over 127 airport employees, 17 government organizations, such as the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia, Khushigiin Khundii Airport State Owned LLC ,the National Civil Aviation Center, Air Traffic Control Service Department, Buyant Ukhaa International Airport, Aviation Safety Oversight and Regulation Department, Air Accidents Investigation Bureau, General Intelligence Agency of Mongolia, Policy Agency of Civil Aviation Authority, Intelligence Agency of Tuv aimag, Border Inspection Department at Buyant Ukhaa, Immigration Agency at the Buyant Ukhaa, Border Protection 0218 Military Unit, Buyant Ukhaa Customs, Hunnu Air LLC, Aero Mongolia LLC, Emergency department of Tuv aimag and Health department of Tuv aimag, were participated in the training exercise.
The training exercise consisted of 4 parts, information transmission process, the operation of airport emergency center, meeting point process, and responding actions at the accident site. The exercise provided an opportunity for the airport employees, government agencies, and relevant organizations to become familiar with and implement emergency team cooperation for clarification and discussion of their roles in the emergency situation.
